About Eoin

I started my apprenticeship in 2006, I qualified as a carpenter in 2011. I started working for myself as a sole trader in 2014 at 24 years of age. Most of my work was as a carpentry and roofing sub contractor for builders. I did a lot of work in bespoke fancy houses at the time where we made everything from stairs to walk in wardrobes to decorative timber beams in church ceilings.  In 2016 I had reached a point where I had a staff of 5 and I managed to get some work in fitting oak column and beams in the golf club in Adare Manor which was probably one of the most prestigious projects in the country at the time.

At 28 in order to get a bit of management experience I changed direction and decided to take on a management role for a Timberframe company  managing their erecting crews, cranes and quality control.

After this I managed construction sites for developers for 4 years, though ultimately I wanted to return to working for myself.

In 2023 my circumstances changed and I was suddenly able to enter self-employment  again.  From that point onwards I have been growing my company.

We are now a strong team  carpenters. We carry out carpentry works of all descriptions, roofing of new and old buildings, roof repairs and general building maintenance in residential, commercial and industrial settings.

What our Clients Say…

  • We have recently moved into our new house. Eoin Looney and his team carried out a full carpentry and roofing package for us. This project was quite complex as it included elements of block-built construction, timber-frame construction and steel frame construction including slated pitched roofs and rubber coated flat roofs. Eoin’s knowledge of products and detailing was a life saver for someone not from a trade background. In turn he and his team were equally as efficient at the finishing work. He fitted a full joinery package as well as engineered hardwood floors, wood clad concrete stairs and decorative wall panelling. I have no hesitation in recommending Eoin and his team and I am very grateful for their hard work.
